I need to officially give up on trying to get through the narrator of these audiobooks。 The accents are so cringey and make any heartfelt scene feel absolutely ridiculous。 That being said， I really loved the twists and turns in this sequel， even more so than book 1。 I’m pretty sick of the love triangle， honestly。 I don’t have many other criticisms， but still 4 stars because I just don’t have that ‘love’ feeling towards this series still。 Excited for book 3 though。

This is definitely a “set up” book。 While I was intrigued and still invested in the “ultimate” mystery and end game… it became a little convoluted in all the things we learned。 I’m not upset about most of the things that were revealed， I feel that they could have went about it a different way。 I expected to have more “romance” and more of a feel for that “love triangle” but I’m not getting that… and to be honest as of where the characters stand right now something major has to happen in that dep This is definitely a “set up” book。 While I was intrigued and still invested in the “ultimate” mystery and end game… it became a little convoluted in all the things we learned。 I’m not upset about most of the things that were revealed， I feel that they could have went about it a different way。 I expected to have more “romance” and more of a feel for that “love triangle” but I’m not getting that… and to be honest as of where the characters stand right now something major has to happen in that department for the “hard choice” to be made。But this is exactly way we are setting up book 3 this way。 I’m excited to see where the story goes on book 3 。。。more
